Getting started

So you’ve decided to take an estate plan off of your “to-do” list and to start the process.  Good for you!  Now what?

Step 1

Set an appointment for a consultation with one of our attorneys.

Consultations can be conducted over video conference, phone, or in person (upon request) in our Huntington Beach office.  There is NO CHARGE for your time with the attorney.  You can discuss your situation, needs, and desires in detail at this meeting.

Step 2

To prepare for maximizing your time with your attorney, we ask you to fill out our Trust Preliminary Information Packet as best you can prior to your appointment.

You do not need to fill in every section if you have questions, but providing as much information as possible gives your attorney a fuller picture of all the factors that will determine what your documents require.

Step 3

In just a few weeks, we will reach out with an excerpt of your final documents for your review.
Once you’ve reviewed them carefully and affirm that everything is correct,*  you can set an appointment with one of our specially trained notaries in any of our offices.  Our office has a relationship with several notaries who we trust to provide you excellent and accurate service.  In addition, the rates we have negotiated with these notaries is similar to or often lower than you will find with an outside notary.

*note you will have an opportunity to make corrections or changes after your review, if needed

Once signed, your estate plan is complete.  Now, it’s time to put your estate plan to work!

Schedule a Consultation

Our office will contact you regarding available appointment dates and times.  Initial appointments with your attorney are scheduled over Zoom.

We look forward to working with you.
